A parte tutte le informazioni che ho trovato in internet, volevo qualcosa di stampato ad arte sul mio sogno a quattro ruote.
Così, approfittando dell'imminente compleanno, ho fatto ordinare dalla nuova DeLorean Motor Company, a Houston in Texas, il libro "Stainless Steel Illusion", in seconda edizione a 39.95 dollari.
La prima edizione aveva avuto una tiratura di 10000 stampe, vendute successivamente a prezzi folli, anche verso i 400 dollari. Poi , più niente fino a che la DMC ha fatto le ristampe, dai film originali, spero, con un capitolo aggiuntivo.
Il libro tratta per lo più della macchina, non dell'uomo o dell'azienda, e, dicono, sia il miglior libro mai scritto a proposito..

Adesso è in spedizione..speriamo bene.

At less than $40, it's a great alternative to buying an original, first edition!

Il libro è arrivato ieri, tramite la FedEx, che ha svolto un egregio, sebbene abbastanza caro, servizio.
La spedizone, effettuata con un imballo curatisismo (il libro era infilato in una busta con le bollicine, a sua volta infilata in una scatola di cartone), è costata 29.05 dollari, per un totale di 69 dollari tondi tondi.
A cui vanno aggiunti circa 10 euro di sdoganamento...

Ieri ho sbirciato qualche pagina, delle 175 totali, ma un po' troppo di corsa...quindi nei prossimi giorni vi saprò dire di più..certo..le foto sono fantastiche...
