ich war auf der Automesse in Leipzig. Zusammen mit Carsten, mit dem ich mich dort verabredet hatte, waren wir natürlich auch beim KIA Stand, um zu sehen, ob ein Sorento ausgestellt ist. Nach einer kurzen Unterhaltung mit dem Verkäufer, der übrigens das Forum nicht kannte, sagte uns dieser, dass für den Herbst 2003 ein V8 CRDi des Sorento als Limited Edition herauskommen soll. Angeblich soll er sogar den ML 400 CDI in den Schatten stellen (na ja, war halt der KIA Verkäufer, der uns das sagte).

Meiner hat zwar erst 2.000 Kilometer auf der Uhr, aber da wurde ich doch hellhörig: Der Verkäufer hatte noch keine Prospekte oder Preise oder ähnliches, lediglich die Info's über das KIA Informationssystem, aber der Sorento soll haben:

- 4,3 Ltr V8 CRDi (kommt von Hyundai)
- ausstattungsmäßig so wie der V6 Benziner, aber zusätzlich
- CD-Navi-Kombination mit Stummelantenne auf dem Dach
- Xenon-Licht
- Regensensor
- Holzeinlagen wahlweise auch in Carbonoptik

Das ist das, was ich behalten habe. Zum Preis konnte mir der Händler noch nichts sagen, aber er äußerte sich dahin gehend, dass der V8 Limited zwischen 35.000 EUR und 37.000 EUR kosten soll.

Und das Interessante: Der Verkäufer erzählte mir, dass KIA damit nicht nur die normalen "SUV-Freaks" ansprechen will, sondern insbesondere die Range Rover und ML 400 CDI Fahrer. Die Auslieferung soll bevorzugt geschehen. Eine Lieferzeit von einem Jahr ist bei dem V8 ausgeschlossen, es soll sich im Bereich von max. 3 Monaten bewegen.

Wie gesagt, das ist das, was mir mein Händler gesagt hat. Bezüglich der Lieferzeiten kann ich mir das gar nicht vorstellen, andererseits, wenn KIA nun tatsächlich größenwahnsinnig geworden ist und ganz oben angreift, ist wohl eine zeitige Lieferung sehr sinnvoll.

Mannomann, ich find' meinen Sorento echt Klasse und eigentlich reichen mir auch die 140 PS, aber so'n 8 Zylinder für rund 10.000 EUR Zuzahlung? Irgendwie hätte das was. Muss heute abend noch mal rechnen.

Ma se non ne hai a sufficienza, ne posso stampare un po' anch'io di carte false: una carta falsa da 500 al prezzo speciale di 150, con sconto del 10% per pistoniani e del 15% per gruppi. ;D ;D ;D ;D

... ok te che la possiedi ed hai capito la bontà del progetto li puoi ritenere equi... ma un utente medio li spenderà mai??? e poi quanto azz costa in assicurazione un 4.2??? tremendo... rischia di essere un pelo fuori mercato per come in Italia si vedono le auto coreane (e poi a 37.000 si prendono gli x5 e i ml con un anno di vita o giù di li...)
vedremo... che tu sappia il v8 crdi è per caso progettato dalla vm (o detroit) di cento (come i vari 2.0 - 2.5 - 2.9) o è un progetto di hundai??

Guarda vg, per quanto mi riguarda potrebbe essere una notizia "fuffa".

Non so se sei mai salito su un Sorento, pero' ti consiglio di farlo. Chiunque l'abbia fatto, e' rimasto sorpreso dalla qualità percepita.

Tieni presente che per i mercati al di fuori dell'italia e' disponibile già da ora una motorizzazione 3.5 V6 benzina.

E poi l'ML 400 CDI (ad esempio) costa la bellezza di 63000 euro... non so se mi spiego :o

Il motore 4200 Mercedes vale da solo il prezzo... sarebbe una GRAN figata!

Anche io sono del parere che sarebbe una gran figata però sono sicuro che in Italia non avrebbe mercato.
