Il quinto appuntamento dell'Intercontinental Rally Challenge sarà il primo appuntamento stagionale tutto su asfalto, lo era anche il Monte ma la neve quest'anno l'ha fatta abbastanza da padrona e quindi questo è appunto il primo rally della serie che si correrà su asfalto. La corsa belga avrà luogo il 19 e 20 giugno.
La gara ha sempre avuto un gran seguito di piloti e pubblico ed è quasi un evento nazionale con molti appuntamenti di contorno sportivi e non che si svolgono nella cittadina belga (ci sono stato ed è un evento da seguire non solo sportivamente).
Le strade sono praticamente tutte in pianura o leggermente ondulate con una miriade di curve a 90° con il fascino delle prove in notturna.

Ho potuto seguire poco il rally ma da quello che mi è giunto alle orecchie abbiamo una nuova debacle Abarth nonostante il cambio pilota Alen/Casier, nuovo dominio Peugeot/Skoda con Meeke (Peugeot) che vince su Kopecki (Skoda), e Loix (peugeot) solo 8° Basso e peggio ancora Casier 12°.

Ora la classifica piloti è questa:
